Printing

The select column is found on a number of the windows created when searching for prints. The Artist/Title and the Artist/Catalogue windows are the best examples of this. When you have chosen an entry for printing, double left click on the Select column to the left of the print title. An X will appear, which indicates you have selected that entry to be printed. You can also select the highlighed print by pressing the <F4> button.

You can select from one to one hundred entries to print at one time. They do not need to be contiguous or even in the same window. If you wish to print a block of entries at one time (range printing), start at the bottom of the block and double left click the entry for printing. Then, move up to the top of the block, highlight the entry, and right click on the highlighted entry. This brings up a choice to Mark Block for Selection. You can also press the <F5> key to mark a block.

Once you have selected all the entries you want to print, click on the speed button for printing or access this function from the File section of the menu bar. A window now pops up gives you the choice of printing the Summary only, the Detail only, or both the Summary and the Detail.

Making a choice here leads to the third printing window, where you can preview the page(s), change printers, etc.

After you choose here, a final window pops up which gives you the choice of how you want the data sorted that you are going to "export." You will note that the "default" is to Artist / Title / Date / Lot, which is the way it is displayed in the artist title window.

Remember to clear the list of the items you selected, unless you wish to print them again or perhaps send them to the clipboard, before you choose new items, or the old items will be printed again. Do this by selecting the speed button or the File section of the menu bar.
