Select Bibliography

Use:

This bibliography is arranged alphabetically by the authors last name. To get to a particular author, simply begin to type the first letter or letters of the authors last name. The program will automatically take you to that name. There is no Go box or Go button in this window or the other bibliographical section. Click on the authors name and the short title will appear to the right, the long title at the bottom of the Window. Clicking on a particular title in the window brings up the detail at the bottom.

Content:

This section of the bibliography lists General Reference Works that deal with more than one artist or with prints generally. It is arranged by the authors name and cites many standard reference works.

This is a representative sampling of print reference literature and is not meant to be exhaustive. General works dealing with fine art and artists biographies, such as Benezit and Davenports, by and large have not been included.
